Will putting a high stall in make my car go into limp home mode?

It shouldn't. I had the stock convertor on my EF high-stalled (they can be modded for a reasonable cost). The stall went from about 2100rpm to about 2900rpm, and had no issues with limp mode. Driveability is still very good. Fuel economy will suffer a little around town, but no change on the highway, as the convertor still locks up. And man does it jump off the line! I can't guarantee that an aftermarket high-stall convertor won't create issues, but can't see how it would be any different from the modified factory one. FWIW.

it should be ok up untill 3000rpm, i have a 2500 stall and it works fine, but if i stall it hard on the brakes it does go into limp home mode
