hey fellas r EL XR6 Auto Transmissions any different to the standard EL ones or they r all the same?

gday mate.
ive done services on both transmissions at work and couldnt see any difference on the inside or anything on both of the transmissions

All of the six cylinder transmissions are basically the same from EB11 through to EL, and are able to be used in any of the E series cars they came from. There are some revision differences, and EF11 onwards didn't have a dipstick.
Also check the gear selector linkages. Sometimes the bushes fail etc. Cheers BenJ

all the same exept shift point timing.
controlled by the ecu. ba onward by ion different pump priming curcuit,way smaller pump gears. but internaly very much for much cheers dave |
