Hey Folks,

I've had this rattling going on for like forever! Took the car to a new mechanic the other week and he said its actually the caliper!

.... so I swung past Repco today and brought a new set for the front, but when I got home and opened the boxes, it seems I only brought the swing arms.

I'm wondering if I should've brought the other bit the swing arms bolt onto as well, and maybe some new bolts too ?

I've gotta go back to get some Pads anyhow, what do you think ? What else should I get to make sure my brakes are tip-top ?

To stop the rattle why didnt you try some dynagrip between the pads and caliper?

Whats dynagrip ?

I'm no mechanic, but I'm comfy just bolting off, and bolting on. I just hope it solves the problem!

The pedders guys say the suspension and everything is cool, and no-one else has come up with better suggestions, so I hope this does the trick.

dynagrip stops the rattle and squeak between pad and caliper, which sounds like your problem
