Park, neutral and reverse are all mechanical. s1/s2 are used for 1,2,3,4 gears

Thankds for that I have a auto with no reverse and a auto that has stuffed solenoids LHM so I will swap the valve body to and see how that goes

the gearbox with no reverse might have a snaped band

i'm using the valve body off the auto with no reverse and putting it onto a auto locked in safe mode been sitting for about 2 years fingers crossed

Well I exchanged the valve body from the box with no reverse to the box with safe mode and now have a PROPER transmisson The box with safe mode had been sitting in shed foer abour two years Thanks all for your imput
