I've got a knocking noise coming from the front somewhere, I think its the front left brake or something.
The knocking noise comes and goes sometimes but it gets worse and I can feel the brake pedal pulsating. I've taken both front wheels off and had a look but nothing obvious stands out. There is a bit of play in the steering but its on both sides and its only the left that has the knocking.
I dont think the disc is warped because visually it looks very straight while turning it but it is a worn but I dont know how much.
Any suggestions on what it could be?
I'm going to take it to a workshop tomorrow and want to suggest a few problems it could be.

Save it for flaming. You've been warned numerous times before.

The rotors were worn to limits and the pads on the inside of both front calipers are extremely worn.

Brakes replaced including bearings. Problem solved.
