Hi Guys,

I've done a fair bit of reading here on the Fordmods site as to performing a full auto transmission flush at home.

Now most of the instructions seem pretty clear but I just wondered if someone could clear a few points up for me:

1. Once I remove the pan and drain the 4ltrs out and change gasket, filter and S5. Reinstall pan, and fill using the filler hole and re-fit the fill plug,.

2. I then disconnect the trans cooler lines from the radiator and connect the return line to the drum of 20ltr fluid and the other to an empty drum and start the car and cycle through the gears?

Thanks guys,

may not help but it may pay to have it done by a pro as a little stuff up can cost a lot of money

cheers

Thanks for replying Jonathan.

I cannot afford to take it to a transmission shop as I am only a Student.

I found this video on Youtube and it seems pretty straight forward. I plan on undertaking this task next fortnight so I've got that long to sort it all out.
