Hi guy
I changing from auto to manual on my AUIII as the auto box has packed in and Ive got a complete manual conversion kit from my old EL. My questions are, -will it all bolt in? eg...will the flywheel bolt up to the AU engine? -also Ive heard that the bell housings are different too,is this true? I know Ill need a manual ecu too. Thanks for any help. |

Thanks for any help. It will bolt up except for 2 (I think) bolts on the bellhousing which don't line up. The shifter is also in a bit different position (I have a feeling it is about 50mm forward).

You need an AU box, as E Series are too short, the shifter almost comes up through the ashtray. Also, it doesn't fit in the console.
