If its just a vinyl knob, on the front side of the t/bar (facing the dash) there will be a little plug with a screw behind it. If its a leather knob then the only way I done it was feel around the area and slice a little bit out enough to get to the little screw to undo it.
Hope this helps, Cheers Justin

First of all, is your handle leather or plastic.
If it is plastic, look at the back of the handle, section that faces your dash, and you will find a small plug there. Pry it out with a small flat screwdriver and it will reveal a small philips head screw. Undo this and you will be able to remove the button assembly. Whatch how it comes apart so you know how to put it back together. If it is a Leather clad handle, find a plastic handle so you can see where the plug is located, feel abound the same area on the Leather handle and you will locate the plug. You can rub the area with blunt object to see the shape of the plug if you want. With a very sharp knife, ie snap blade or scalpel are good, cut a small hole in the Leather where the plug is and you will expose the plug under the leather. All leather handles are the stock plastic ones underneath. Then it is the same procedure for the plastic handle. Hope this helps. |
