Gday

I'm just wondering if this oil is alright to use with a T5? I'm doing the conversion tomorrow and have this oil.

Cheers

Will be fine, add a little lubrizol.

I personally use Castrol Transmax-Z with NO additive.

I thought lubrizol was just to stop frothing on dxII type oils.

Transmax Z and actual gear oil shouldn't need it.

I'm running Castrol VMX 80 in mine for now with Nulon G70 aditive in it and it is fine, but when I change it in a year or so, it will be with Transmax Z.

if the gear oil is synthetic which obviously syntrans is, you dont need lubrizol..
you dont need the additive if your using synthetic type oils..
lubrizol was ment to be added to mineral trans fluid...

Cheers

My EF runs Dexron 3 AT fluid and lubrizol. Wierd eh?

I had to re-check when I saw it in the Castrol catalogue!
