I've had KU31, and the KU36's have it all over them for grip.

Im going to spend some time calling some tyre manufactureres and find rotational tyres with tread wear between 250-300, as that should still offer good grip and life of the tyre....

I got some KU36's fitted yesterday for $185 each. 2658xx k's on my car at time of fitment, let's see how they fare as steer tyres. Might just stick to 595SS on the rear.

Well drove it in slightly damp conditions this morning...road was a bit wet. Tested hard braking from 70km/hr in heavy traffic, didn't slip and stopped well (without ABS kicking in). Tyres held well when cornering faster than usual (left handers mainly) and they seemed good, didn't have any issues. Yet to try them in pouring rain...but looks like the weather is fining up down here, so no results anytime soon.

Well have driven it for 2 full tanks (1000kms) and they haven't failed on me. Have found it's limits though but you can definitely feel it so you can back of a little. In the wet it works great but haven't pushed it in the wet. Haven't lost any traction out the front so in the wet so it's doing well.

Must say they are value for money...so I am a happy chap.

4000k's on my KU36's, 95% tread. Took the 90° left hander out of Willowbank onto Cunningham Highway @ 95km/h on Saturday, it's normally a 55-60km/h corner. I'm loving them, as a true street tyre, they are great.

I replaced my Kuhmo KU31 today with another set and i got 37,171kms out of my last set which im happy about. For the price you cant go wrong and the next best thing would be Falken-452...

I got my tyres from Kar Pro Roselands and all the team there were very nice and friendly and went over my car as per my request. They know there stuff and are into there cars and can do all kinds of repair work, aircon regas, tyres, exhaust so a one stop shop.

Im a tyre fitter and a wheel alinger and it all depends on how much camber you have on the front tyres and the amount off pre set camber and toe on the rear. Ive got 235/45/17 maxxis mav1 with about 2and a half neg camber and have clocked up about 58thousand on them so far good in wet&dry

I use 235/45/17 P Zero Neros on the front and 255/40/17 RE050A's on the back.

Thanks to a bargain second hand on ebay paid sfa for the rears at pretty much brand new condition (nipples still intact). I think they retail over $300

Have driven an sti in the wet with P Zero Corsas on...was a fun experience.

Just got some new wheels on my car. I bought the Federal 595 s tyre.
That had to be the worst mistake of my life ( a f**k s**t tyre ). I went back & swaped them for a set of Kumho KU31. This tyre is the best tyre i have ever used. What grip this tyre has dry & wet.
Tread wear i don't know as yet. I am very impressed with the grip level in the wet.
The tyre size is 235/40/18's. I will buy this tyre again. :D :D
