Ok guys, sorry i already know there are a few posts on clutches, but i need a bit of info pretty quickly. The clutch in my el xr6 is on it's last legs at the moment, don't know how long it will last so i'm going to change it for a stronger one.

I gave one of the Xtreme dealers a ring today, the guy was VERY helpful. He pointed me towards an Exedy clutch, recommended a heavy duty cushion button to still handle a decent amount of power but still be acceptable for daily driving.

Basically what i'm after is something i can give a good flogging from time to time and still be pretty decent to drive around in the city, not "crack your firewall" sort of hardness. He quoted me a discounted price of $400 for the HD kit + $20 for a new spiggot washer.

Just wanted to know what people recommend within a decent price range, apparently Xtreme's aren't "that" much better for the extra price you pay. Also, i considered a lightweight flywheel, are they really worth it? Or am i better off just getting my old one machined?

Thanks guys :)
