hey guys,
had this problem for a while now with my AU2 non-irs futura. the problem would come and go at standard height (usually after wet weather). then i went crazy with some spray lube (tac 2) into the extension housing seal. and its been fine ever since.
a few months ago i lowered my car it been happening a lot more frequently, and i'm just using the spray lube to get me by in the meantime. tranny has done 300,000 k's and i just did a filter/oil service.
what do i actually need to change to fix this, and can i do it myself?
should i just be looking for a new box, as its flaring between 1/2 and slow to go into reverse (2-4 sec pause)?

**Note, the attached mp3 was when it was at its worst at standard height. currently its just the high pitched whine when over 30km/h or so.
