hi
tried to prise the extension housing seal in the back of the ed transmission and some of its out but the rest seems to be a bit of metal inside where the tail shaft goes. prised the seal with a punch and gave it a tap and the metal inside where the tail shaft goes is a bit bent now. can you give some more information on replacing a rear extension housing seal as soon as you get this please. would the transmission still be ok with the bit inside where the tail shaft goes is bent or would i need another one how would you move the transmisson under the car and lift it into the spot to bolt in |

The extension housing bush has been damaged - pull the extension housing off to replace the bush and seal.
