Hey there. I will answer your suspension question as i would not have a clue about the cost of rotors.

I would recommend Pedders suspension and shocks. In the fairlane you do not want a stiff ride, because they are meant to be a comftable car. I used Pedders Velecity Response Damping, and find them awsome (just go to the pedders website to find out more). they give an awsome ride.

Height wise, level with the guards is low enough i think, but then everyone has there own opinion.

Anyways thats my opinion, im sure you will get plenty of help off the others as well.

Godd luck

Well I'm running Pedders Sports Ryders in my Lane and they give a reasonably firm feel while retaining comfy Fairlane feel.
But they were the cheap option for me at the time, most of my suspension bushes need replacing now after 10yrs so I'll be doing those soon and probably new shocks to suit.
As for ride height I got the standard lows and I still occasionally scrape the front or the tow bar in and out of some steeper driveways (damn big a** fairlane  ). Oh and you'll probably want to get rid of the moulded mud flaps as they are the first things to go.

I've got 17x8's on mine but if you've got the cash then I recon 18's would look better on the LWB. Have a look through the gallery at different ride heights and rim sizes and then personal preference.

As for brakes I was looking into some nice 4 spotters but they start at around $2.5K and seeing as my cars more of a cruiser I don't need vast amounts of braking power. I just popped on a pair of dba golds and around town when I jump on the anchors the ABS works just fine.
I have to admit though if I have a spare couple of K I'd get a set of 4 spotters more for the bling value.
