I am currently looking at a 97 EL Fairmont and will be going for an inspection some time this week, but I am wondering if Fairmonts came with an LSD or was it only an option?

Pretty sure it was stock on the Ghia and an option on the Fairmont

Who knows, I might get lucky and it will be optioned with it. Anyway for $3990, its pretty cheap.

my EL fairmont which i bought for 4950 had LSD, camber kit, momo steering wheel, sunroof and had lows on the rear =D........it was great......minus the 2 deep key marks on both sides of the car, one lower control arm was f**k, whole fuel line in shat and tyres were worn until the metal mesh..........ended up spending and extra 2000 bux on fixing, lower control arms, 17" AMG quakes with new tyres, new brake discs and pads on rear. i lost some and i gained some but i think it was cheaper in the end to get all of the extras when i bought the car and getting it fixed.
