Hi Guys, I had the brakes and rotors of my wife's 98 EL Futura (ABS brakes) changed by my local ford dealer a couple of months ago. When my wife told me that the car wasn't breaking properly I took it for a spin and I found that I had to apply a lot more pressure to the break pedal to stop the car, and after driving for a while the car shakes a little bit when pressure is applied to the brake pedal. I took it back to the dealer and they told me that now the use steel pads. Is this right?.

i doubt they would use steel pads as they will f**k th rotors! that is unless u asked for them

if it shudders it means the rotors are warped and need replacing
