Hi folks, just curious atm, but at some time I am going to have to replace the rear suspension bushes. I haven't yet seen any posts of ppl doing this. I have done some research on the interweb thingy, and it seems to be a rear suspension out job.
Now that in itself doesn't seem difficult, just time consuming. I am more concerned about the actual bush removal. The hardest one looks like the center diff bush. I look at this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-TERRITO ... XQBlJR8zNJ and think do I really have to pay 500 bux or is there a cheaper way. At that cost I may as well take to a workshop. Suggestions/comments/experiences.........................??? ( something to be said about the old fashioned leaf springs, eh?? Lasted forever!!) Cheers |

I reckon there is some money to be made by selling completely re-kitted rear suspensions for BA to FG. Bolt out, bolt in

Quote: so i'm eagerly following to learn some 'secrets' to doing the changes I am led to believe that Ford now have a tool which will do the job in a fraction of the original time, and without removing the suspension entirely. It just has to be dropped by 100mm But I have yet to find out for sure. |

Just spoke to a Ford dealership Re the above statement. As far as they are know, they still remove the cradle to replace the bushes as their way of doing it. The labour excluding the bushes is $430.00
