most people ask about fitting a manual


i have an AU3 with possibly a sick auto. is it possible to use the EB auto?

I used an AU auto in my wife's EL.
Just change the bellhousing and you should be sweet.

BTR autos are the same e series to AU. The AU onwards T5 has a 50mm longer extension housing, that's why they are not compatible with earlier models.

Switch the AU bellhousing to the EB box and you are away. EB to AU are very similar, only slight internal changes, pump etc. All plugs fittings etc are the same all the way through.

thats good to hear ... AU T5's are still compatable- just the shifta point is approx 50mm rearward :mrgreen:

OK!! .. thats excellento :roll: i ave 5 EA/EB boxes here so i'm sweet lol :roll:
