I have an EL and am getting an EL GT swaybar. Is it a simple bolt on installation or is it more involved?

Yeah, get new rubbers.
I don't know whether Ford flog the EL GT bars with new D-Bushes, but you'll need 'Swaybar link bushes' anyway.
So get the whole lot.

IF Ford don't flog the Bar already with them.
They MIGHT, so buy it first and see if they do.
Then, if it didn't, you will need the saddle bushes, and the swaybar link bushes. It is 8.
2 on each side where the link connects to the swaybar, and 2 on each side where the link connects to the car.
Easy enough job.
Couple of things to note.
Don't tighten the bushes fully till the car is at 'normal ride height', and don't tighten the bushes enough to cause deformation.
If you're going polyurethane (which you should!) make sure you get 'lithium grease' as well, and grease up the faces of all the bushes.

You'll actually need there saddle bushes now that I think about it, i don't know of anyone else that does them in 28mm.
But get polyurethane swaybar links bushes!!!
Trust me!
Last longer, and will increase the effect of the swaybar.

How much are polyurethane swaybar links bushes? I mean the ford ones are only $21.20 for 8.

I paid around the $20 mark from Autobarn, for 'Nolathane' brand ones.

it's a peice of piss to change (so long as the bolts on the D bracket are alright). I fitted a whiteline front a while ago. Didn't replace my slink bushes as they were still in fine condition and are nolathanes already. did regrease them but.
