My newly won K-mac "Strong ones" adjustable camber kit just arrived from Ebay...

They are in great nick but there are no fitting or adjusting instructions..

fitting doesn't look like brain surgery, but I'd like to make sure there are no newbie errors I could make.. should I wind them right down before fitting and then wind them out or is there a "factory" starting position etc etc.

better yet, has anyone got the paperfork for these ?? (EF/EL versions)

regards

Frank

If you have the ratchet type camber kit, this is what I did and had no problems.

When fitting them, use some rubber grease on the bushes. The bolts holding the upper control arm (to the camber adjusters) are to be tightened when all the weight of the vehicle is on the suspension. Once they're fitted, bounce the front end up and down a few times to settle the springs & shocks close to normal position. If you tighten the bolts with car jacked up, the bushes will try and twist to the settled position and this results in squeaking noises. Two ring spanners are all you need.

Will you be getting a wheel alignment after they're fitted?
