I have a BA with a shagged diff (usual story from what I've heard) basically my question is can the diff centre be swapped with one from an EB Fairmont? (I have one just collecting dust) I know the ratio is slightly lower than the one in the BA, that shouldn't be too much of a concern right? I'm only looking for a cheap alternative to get another yr or so out of it. I have no experience when it comes to diffs and that's why I'm asking you guys Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

i will have to say no as the 'diff' in the BA/BF centre is slightly differant from what i understand. i picked up a complete BA/BF diff [stuffed rubbers] for no more than $200 not long back.
