just wondering
iv been told that u can increse acceleration by only breaking a little rod inside the air intake has nyone heard of this

dont no about any rods in the air intake, it might be the bell mouth in the actual airbox. Some people say they restrict the intake, some dont.

I saw a topic called "ford" and couldnt resist a peek.

yeah mate, its actually the silver rod that runs along side your head on the right. should be about an inch think and shiny. either cut it with a hacksaw, or snap it with a chisel. Kinda looks like a small curtain rod. Helps pressurise the intake, but you will get worse economy. its why its there. to help economy at the cost of powa.
