ok guys ever since a motor change in my friends el, the gearbox is stuck in LHM-
im yet to find a doco that states what LHM actually is, what causes it... and how i can get it out of it..

i thought it was basically the computer in the car detects somthin wrong with the car but it can still drive so to stop you from doin anymore damage and leeting you know thers somthin wrong it goes into limp home mode. so 2k rpm limit and stuk in 3rd i think.
should be reset when car is turned off then bak on unless thers somthin really wrong. maybe didnt connect somethin while replacein engine.

hmm possible, the only thing that i can think of is the temp sender, the connection in the plug is what is stuffed-not sure but it goes up to overheating and beeps, comes back down to cold and all over again... replace plug and sender? its missing one of the clips that hold it on but its still pretty tight on there

and yes, limp home mode, except it still does 100km, in third gear -.-

well if the temp gauge is playing shenanigans replace the sensor. and if the plug is screwed replace it. see how you go
