If it's when driving, I've been having this problem with my Au after lowering it. You may need a castor/ camber adjustment. Do you find the steering tends to point where it's turned and not return to centre as you drive ??
You could try one of these http://www.nolathane.com.au/bulletins/Update%20701.pdf Cheers Mr220kw Last edited by Mr220kw on Mon Sep 06, 2010 9:19 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

G'Day.
You might wanna check your brake booster. Although Ford will never admit it, the BA and BF had a tolerence problem with the rod in the brake booster to master. The rod is a bit to long and causes the brakes to just slightly apply when doing speeds of 80 kays and upwards, causing shudder and vibration. Talk to you local brake shop, im sure they will have herd of this. A reco booster should fix it. Cheers Stu. Hope this helps. |

Stu may be onto something with the booster. Take the master cyl off (2 bolts) then mark the end of the booster push rod with paint and slide back on and do up. Then undo it again. If the paint on the end of the rod has been marked by the Master cyinder then you may need an adjustment my man. Failing that go the Pedders for a $14 safety check they will list what it could be. |
