I recently put king SSL springs in the rear and King SL's in the front of my EL Fairmont Ghia but i cant understand why the front is lower than the rear. I am still running the factory height shocks in the rear however. Will it make a differance with lower shocks?

I wouild think so, is you shock bottomed out already. If it isn't already bottoming out the first bump will make that happen for you.

Just out of curiosity what shocks/struts are you using in the front?
Front may be lower due to spring seats mounted lower on the strut. Thats the case with my Ef fairmont, using pedders sportsryders all round i think, front is nice and low with the guard just above the tyre but the rear sits about 35mm above the tyre Definately change your stock rear shocks though, they wont last too long with supers in the rear |

Are the rear springs seated correctly? Seeing you have standard shocks with SSL springs they will not be trapped as the shock is too long, its also unroadworthy.

Just the factory Tickford struts in the front.

Only other possibility is your have SSL's in the front and SL in the back, if the back isn't sitting on the bump stops.

Its quite clear the difference between front and rear springs. they also have ssl and sl printed on to the springs. I really think its the stupid uneven ground around here thats giving it that illusion when its parked.
