hey guys just a quick question when installing wheel bearings for the front how tight do u guys do them finger tight etc. cause I installed new ones not that long ago and I follow what was on the piece of paper the bearing came with and now I got abit of a vibration coming from the left hand front. its really annoying.

it may be that you didn't have them fully seated....a mechanic once said to me to tighten them until they take up all the slack, go 1/4 turn more, then back off slightly until you can turn the rotor by hand. I've always done it that way and not had any probs. Maybe just check them again like this - if you let them go as they are they probably won't last very long....

Tighten to 30Nm WHILE rotating the hub. Undo quarter turn and tighten finger tight...or 8Nm or something can't remember.

Take it for a drive and after 100-200km check if there is any play. If there is play, I tend to retighten to 30Nm, undo and tighten finger tight. Usually okay after that.
