would it be possible at all to change the first gear in the automatic gear box or even retrofit 1st from a commodore box to a falcon box.
if it sounds stupid to you just put it down to that im very tired and think of wacky things |

nope, unfortunately as long as you have a btr you have a s**t first gear.

Anything is possible, how much you willing to pay. I've already thought about this, and after asking around dismissed it due to cost involved. Get a T5 or a much better diff ratio.
Oh, change the the same 1 and 2nd ratio from a commie, leave 3rd and 4th the same, so you get to keep some form of fuel economy.

Sure do, I really cant see anyone swapping the gears. Even if it was possible, it would be FAR cheaper just to use a commy box with a CRS bellhousing.

Not sure. I was quoted $1150 for a kit to put a T400 behind a 4.0 so probably somewhere around there.
Worth it? Good question. For the same price you could put a t5 in.
