Hi my xr6 is revving weird , in drive mode when it changes from the 58 ks area up until the next change which is 70, if I release the throttle and roll from under the 70 mark my revs work as if it were Manuel. Even more noticeable as I have an exhaust. Doesn't do this at any other speed.
What does it sound like? Gear box or diff?

With Falcon automatics (BTR 4-speed, anyway) it always pays to check your fluid level first. They are very sensitive to low fluid level. It's amazing how many times a simple top-up of fluid can fix a problem.
Also, how long since its last transmission service? The BTRs are almost bullet-proof, but they do need a little love now and then.

did you top the trans fluid up to the amount the new cooler took? also you need to service them every 10000 im sure. if you just put the cooler on and left it the reason its playing up is because its low because theres extra fluid needed to fill the cooler...

the trans should be serviced every 12 months or 20,000kms to keep it reasonably healthy
