hitting 2000rpm in any gear i get this noise which sounds like its coming from the gearbox... sounds like metal plates scraping against each other (a dull scratchy noise not a squeal, kinda of like a "shhhhhh")..*ah i love trying to explain sounds* momentarily then goes away as soon as i get past 2000. it makes the same noise in any gear going up RPM or back down at about 2000rpm
had the box serviced and it kept doing it..anyone got any ideas before i fork out more money..? it may not be the box...a few have mentioned the torque converter...?
