Hi gents,

Got me a stage 1 shift kit today from shiftkit.com. Will be installing it saturday and I will let you know how it goes. (more pics)

Came with a full page of fitting instructions with diagram, excellant!!!!!!!!!

Really good delivery time too once they received payment-2 days.....

The little black box is also alot heavier than i thought it would be, must be sealed with something. The build quality is also very very good!!!!!!!!

can't wait to chirp the 225's from 1st-2nd and hopefully 2nd-3rd.

Installed it, took about 1 hour.

Took the car for a test drive and noticed huge improvment. Chirps 1-2 and 2-3. it really launches the car forward at each gear change, i love it..

1st gear now revs right out and the tacho hits the rev limiter. Under full throttle i get 80km/hr before 2nd change, with switch off it changes at around 70km/hr. 3.23 diff gears.

Definately will help my quarter mile times.

I didn't notice this huge whiplash shift that people have been talking about. it's just a good firm quick shift.

i will be leaving it on all the time.

pics; of wiring up the module to the ECU and where i put the switch.

Just let a mate of mine take the falcon for a couple of laps around town. He drives a VZ holden commodore ute, and he was very impressed.

He couldn't get over the cheap price i paid for it!!!!!!!! for such a difference in car performance and driveabilty.

an example of the shift quality of the new kit is exactly the same firmness and quickness as my uncles TJ magna VRX in sports auto mode.

so yeah, awesome.

The ford family saloon has got some sports attitude now.
