It's a 94' EF standard run of the mill plain old Arctic Frost Falcon.

You can check the Master cylinder - if it has two brake lines running off to the LH side of the engine bay, you have ABS. If you have a 3rd line running off under the master cylinder through a hole in the RH wheel arch, you don't have ABS.

Ummm i don't think so as it doesn't have GLi written on the side like i have seen on other EF's.

if the ABS light come's on as it should when you turn the ignition in the "on " or "start" position, is it safe to assume that the ABS is working correctly?

only if it goes off again after a few seconds ... when you turn the key it does a diagnostic routine to check everything is working, sensors are working etc. if it stays on something is wrong. you will still have brakes but need to have the abs checked out!

Well from the photo it looks like an ABS fitted car (from the looks of the master cylinder at least).
You'll find the cruise control module plug stowed under the shelf in the LH corner.

First things first - get your brakes sorted out.

{USERNAME} wrote: well when i had the non abs rotors on the brakes worked as normal except the dash light came on, now to my next question: my brakes feel quite soft and i thought it must be air in the line so i bled them and the left side had a bit of water or brownish liquid in the first squirt but then it went to the nice greenish colour and the needle was a little corroded and same on the right bank but no air came out of the line and my brakes still feel very soft even with the new rotors and new pads and old rotors new pads.
any ideas on what else i can do for my brakes to make them a bit firmer? and can anyone confirm about if my car does or does not have ABS as i can't find the pressure control module in the engine bay or under the front arches! Replace all the fluid and bleed all 4 brakes

I find after I get the brakes professionally done, that the brake pedal takes about 3 or more days of driving to return back to normal pressure. But I put that down to the mechanic getting grease or something on the rotors?
I'm glad your getting it done properly, not only keeps you safe but keeps your insurer happy also <- very important that you do that too you know! |

the only time i get other ppl to do my work is if it is way out of my league and brakes are not, i now know what i'm looking for and if i had of paid some dope to do it it prolly would have cost me over $100 which i'd rather keep for my self. now getting back on point, my brakes are all sorted, i have the originals back on it's just the pedal feels kinda soft and i have bled the brakes and no air came out so i'm now unsure if that's the pedal standard pressure or not now.
snap0964 could u PM me about my Cruise as i would like to know more. well i fly back to work today so i may not answer for up to 8 days, cheers for everyones help.

the ford listing is now the same for abs/non abs so it is possible someone has put abs rotors on your non abs falcon
