Have a look at the discs, pull it all off, the caliper that is, and clean it up, grease sliders etc, you should see the problem then.

lol i scared myself today...did some brake bleeding yesterday n degreased where all the fluid came out...when i hit the brakes in the morning thye made some nice noises..scared me a tad...ur brakes if they have enough meat on them are prolly just either dusty dirty or maybe the rotors need machining...easy fixes...not expensive...if u know how to pull them apart go for it (not hard) degrease them up...easy to do fun fun fun...goooood luck

I had a hard Gum tree leaf stuck between a Laser calliper once, it sounded like metal on metal, I knew it wasn't and pulled off the front wheel, couldn't see anything, 25kms later of listening to a screaming brake noise at 100kph, I ended up borrowing some tools pulling off the calliper to find the small part of a gum leaf.

So the noise could be anything, pull off the callipers, clean them out, get some anti squeal spray (Can substitute for a small amount of high temp silastic) for the back of the pads and put them back in, often the noise is caused by the pads vibrating movement on the calliper piston etc, making the squealing noise.
