forget about trying to adjust the bands its not easy...it requires shims and opening the trans up...

Looks like I'll be seeing a transmision joint then. How urgently would this problem need to be fixed? Should I stop driving it as often until I get it fixed or would it be OK to drive how it is? I'm usually pretty soft on it, if that makes a difference... |

i wouldnt want to be driving it with massively harsh changes, u might do some serious internal damage to the clutches and bands inside....up to u

In my experiance, the gearbox will hold together, my auto shifts extremely hard every shift (because of the shift kit) for the last 2 years and is still okay....but your auto may not fit this example, so get it fixed asap.
