I take back the word "rebadge" because i didn't mean it the way you've taken it and the way you've taken it is understandable. The way it normally goes a company (ie Pedders) goes to a manufacturer (ie Gabriel, Monroe) and talks to them and they work out what models they will cover and what the manufacturer already does and if anything needs to be developed the manufacturer gets some original samples and they go from there. The shocks would have been painted Pedders colour at the factory. I don't imagine Pedders having much technical input, very little i would say. Quote: they dont repaint springs, all springs are made by pedders(manufacturing company has different name but owned essentially by pedders) Newcom, pedders outlets may order coils from other manufactures if they dont have a product for instance, or a special build that cant be done as quick, maybe many moons ago this may have been the case but not now (last 10 year approx).
Yeah, Newcom rings a bell, i got them to make a set of custom swaybars.

They sounded like they did things properly but their price meant i never or rarely ended up using them.
