Heatshield on wheel hubs . . ??

Hey so i got some new rims on my BA XR6, and ive noticed that there are some sort of hietshield metal about 5 cms wide in a circle shape on my wheel huns between brakes and mags...what is this... can it be painted or removed/??

they're just covers to help limit brake dust on your wheels.
do what ever you want with them

If you cut them and bend them into a fan type blade...would it cool your brakes down?

They are an Accessory.....they can be removed, or painted.

Nothing will happen, the blender will blend the microwaves rendering them useless. Micro-Microwaves..

Steps are as follows.

1. Jack up car.
2. Remove wheel.
3. Remove dust cover.
4. Launch dust cover into neighbouring yard.
5. Replace wheel.
6. Lower car and repeat steps 1-5 for each wheel.

Then slap yourself for asking stupid questions. :wink:

well thats not very nice.. lets hope your not my neighbour or u might get a set of 4 dust covers in your front yard. .. :D
