Just go get a PBR XR6 clutch and get it fitted, and you'll be set. Its the only one that a few members on here are yet to fry, considering the extent they thrash the s**t out of their poor clutch. They are cheap (comparitively) and the best bet in your situation.

I am not 100% sure what the difference is. I know the XR6 one is a little dearer than the standard clutch ($20 or $30). I was suggested to use it in the manual conversions I do because of the price difference was small, and I do know of one member here putting 150rwkw through it and he still hasnt fried it 9 months on, whereas he was going through clutches every 3 or 4 months before that.

The Ford glovebox manual lists the XR6 clutch as a Heavy Duty Single Plate, whereas the standard I6 just gets a Single Plate.... Same diametre though.

So there must be a differece, and a worthwhile one.

The XR6's have more clamp load there are a good clutch for up to about 170rwkw. I have a brand new Dakin one for sale if your interested.
