Hi All,

I was reading a previous thread and investigated my brake light switch and found it was worn. I went and got another one today for $9 and removed the old switch.

However, I am unable to get the new one to fit correctly. The electrical pins are sitting in a position where the plug would be taken off by the brake pedal if attached. I also have a green gasket and cannot figure out where it belongs. It's going dark and my knees are killing me, so I've turned to the forum for help.

Any help would be much appreciated!! :)
