Hey guys, I've just finished swapping my 3 speed for the T5 (pedal boxes ftl) and something is buggered with the neutral switch - i can start it but as soon as i turn on the lights/press the brake pedal everything goes haywire and it stalls.
Any ideas? |

It's not your neutral switch if the car starts. Check the wiring at the battery terminals. See if the wiring has corroded or not and if the contacts are good. Sometimes connections aren't good and the car does not get enough power to all accessories.
Make sure you didn't short any of the wires near the transmission, you may have accidentally clipped something. Also make sure you have all wires and plugs reconnected...I accidentally left a plug undone for a while. Hope that helps phong =P~

Update: She starts but there is a nasty clicking noise coming from around the looms around the fuse box, revs all over the place and indicators going nuts so i reckon somethings shorted out, buggered if i know where.
Old mans gonna have a look this arvo, if he cant figure it out i might have to get a sparky out |
