Hey everyone. got a bit of an issue here...not sure as to where I should put this since I am unsure as to what is the cause of this.
Anyways I noticed in the last couple of days that after I park my car, start her up and then drive off as per normal, I get a bit of hesitation when i accelerate. The revs move, but the car feels as though its been pulled back...like my brakes were on or just slightly causing my car to hesitate to move forward...once i get up to speed and use the brakes a couple of times the hesitation disappears. Revs move freely if I was just standing still with clutch pedal out, so no hesitation in motors behalf. So I am thinking driveline/brakes...hence it being in this forum. This usually happens in 1st and 2nd (manual). I usually don't get to 3rd before i have to brake, so I am unsure if it is the gearbox or brake seizure . could someone please enlighten me... cheers phong =P~

got the same thing happening to me.
haven't found a source, but its not the brakes. i replaced the old fuel filter and back washed it. and it took a s**t of pressure to get the crap back out. a new battery helped mine heaps. doesn't do it hardly at all. and im pritty sure ive got a miss in the dissy that i need to get retimed too

I don't think it's the clutch is slipping, the revs don't sky rocket when i let go of the clutch while the accelerator is down...*shrugs* I might have to check the fuel line since I have been running on low several times now...fuel filter may be blocked...again phong =P~
