Hey guys, just a question. My ED Falcon has done nearly 300k on same engine/box/diff, and about a few months ago I started to notice when the car gets hot/warmer in start stop traffic, the gear changes become really harsh and jerky, and also flairs the revs a bit on the 2nd to 3rd gear change. Otherwise, shes a gem and for so many kays, very good order. I fitted and ED oil cooler (bigger flat panel ones) and it seems to have helped a bit, but i've read that the ford 4spds never contained quite enough fluid, so could I fit a second cooler on the right side of the radiator (original one is on the left) to add a bit more fluid and cooling, or are there bigger after market or other ford model oil sumps that could fit to increase fluid level. If not, will a later AUII/III box fit, coz a wrecker has one waiting for if I need it.

Generally people do still leave the factory cooler plumbed in aswell as the external one.
