Hey everyone, the other night i hit a gutter with my back wheel whilst travelling sideways at around 20km's.
Now there is a reasonably loud squeel and im guessing its not just the bearings. The wheel does have a bit of a dint into it but you would reuse it if it didnt have too much of an alignment problem. Im preying it isnt the disc / axle that is warped, although it was quite a ding. Just wondering if any of you have done this before and what parts you had to replace. Hopefully this wont be expensive 
This was in an EL falcon, lsd, no camber kit etc. Thanks in advance

altho u may have been traveling at 20k's how fast were you spinning, the centrifugal force may have warped your axle

I've done the above.... while racing on public roads... I was travelling excessive speeds, and putting everyone at danger on purpose.. and then I came onto a public forum and told everyone about it... and then, because I didn't learn my lesson, I did the same after drinking excessive amounts.
(For the rest of you,.... yes I'm joking, but feel free to insult  )
Anyway... off the flaming.. and onto the fixing.. If your pedal is shaking, you'll probably need a new axel, and if you hit it hard enough, new diff centre.. trailing arm bushes, maybe even trailing arms... seriuosly depends on how hard the hit was. Just look at what is bent, write it down (reference to a book or something), and replace... And seriously... next time.... try correcting properly. Or not going side ways where there are gutters, cars, people, etc... (I'm assuming you were drifting in a school zone, during school zone time, in a very congested traffic jam, with mum in the passenger seat?)

EDIT : I did actually hit a gutter sideways once... legitamtely.. as in, not trying to get the back out, just an unfortunate series of circumstances. I just like putting s**t on people.... makes me feel bigger sitting here.. behind my computer screen...

And where do they have gutters that's not in public? Oh and did you drive home? Are you on the spare? I'm assuming the tyre came off? AND WHERE ARE THE PICTURES? Cheers
