hey all, just trying to work out something with my car. as of late i seem to be bouncing off the rev limiter (3 times to be exact) when im in 2nd going to 3rd with the selector in 'D' the speed is around 138ish.
would it be something ECU wise (EL Ticky ECU to match the EL ticky motor) or the gearbox just being sloppy. i have a shiftkit fitted but it hasnt been switched on in months and ideas? |

im pretty much blank when it comes to autos, but i would assume the XR ecu has its shift points programmed for a 3.45 diff?

It should be shifting earlier if anything with that ECU.

Thats what i was thinking. Get the auto serviced, seems like it is slipping and causing your rev limiter problem

Muncher, that changes how hard the box shifts, not where it shifts.
Definitely sounds as if the box is slipping, does it make a difference with it in econ? |
