I have an AU Wagon, I want the back end dropped about 3in from std.
I just bought some BF3 leafs (30mm lower) and was going to put 1in blocks in but the BF leafs were 30mm lower when laid side by side with the AU leafs after fitting they were exactly the same but stiffened it up which was good. i have read some people flip the main leaf but how is this done? i can get them reset by whiteline for $375 with an extra leaf added but looking for a cheaper alternative. |

I'm not sure about the leaves, but I had my BA wagon Dropped 2" all round, with the rear leaves reset, and it was just way too soft and dragging its a** up every driveway i came across . Not to mention as soon and anyone was in the back it was bouncing off the bumpstops on almost every ripple and minor bump on the road . I ended up getting the rear leaves reset so in effect she is now only an 1" down from STD and it rides much better . I'd try the BA leaves first and work from there a bit at a time rather than try a 3" drop straight up and find youself beached somewhere or leaving an exhaust behind. In the end you do what you think is right for you and your car, all I'm sugesting is from my experience with the car on the road and its usability.

thnaks for that, cheapest option so far is get them reset for $180 but seeing that they will be flatter they will be softer and i want to go 3in so then the bumpstops are only 3in away and I think they will bottom out quite often, i can get an extra leaf added for $120 to make it stiffer which i think i will do.
