A shift kit is a shift kit basically they dont vary that much just on a few internal parts. It could be one of these:
http://www.shiftkits.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13_1&products_id=1&zenid=pgrs9fn51c9jjlaon11j5etmn5 Just have to find where the little module box was set up by whoever put it in. Maybe the person who I assume had the car before made their own? In regards to the damage with them.. there are mixed reviews. Some people say they are better for the transmission as it lowers friction between changes, others will say its bad because of the extra pressue build up in the lines and on the bands. Anyway I run one in mine and once the whole novelty facotr wore off I use it from time to time when I feel like giving it the boot. As people have mentioned be careful with it in the wet as you can loose tranction with it on |
