Well in that case, Ive already priced a CRS bellhousing for $515 to suit my T5. Will I have to use a different flywheel / clutch combination?? Im all ears and eyes because Id like to have it all said and done by the Deni Ute Muster and Bathurst the following weekend. LOL.

CRS bellhousing is $587 to suit LHS starter, efi flywheel size and part no is BH107D. On mine i had to get the tailshaft modded 40mm logger to suit the box which sits further forward which is what you would have to do as well..

So what was the rough price for the bellhousing, flywheel and tailshaft mod?? And any other odds and ins you encountered.

I bought it with all the hard work done. All i had to do was get the tailshaft done which cost $330 all up with h/duty uni's and larger, thick wall tube.Bellhousing is $587 from crs but not sure on a flywheel.. phill |

Ahhhh ok. The old man has a heap of Clevos put away with several manual flywheels, will they suit a Windsor?? If so Im getting really close to finishing off the hoarding of parts for the conversion! LOL!

Just finishing up collecting bits for my T5 conversion and just wondering what the difference between a CRS and Dellows bellhousing is??

Thats what Im thinking as Dellows is much closer to home than CRS and if they are the same and roughly the same price then Dellows it is. I just wasnt sure if there was any differences between the 2.

I had the same thought but ive done some enquiries and there could be a chance of that happening but if I can pick a Windsor type up then obviously Im going to fit that one. See how I go, the 6 comes out this weekend so its all going to happen very soon.

You cannot use either an early Windsor Flywheel or a Clevo flywheel.
The imbalance is wrong. EFI windsor is 50oz from memory and the rest are 28oz. You will need a EFI Windsor flywheel for it to work. Off topic my brother has just put an EA T5 behind his 351 Windsor in his XD using the single rail bellhousing. Couple of mods required but it all fits and works!

Sweet as, that information helps me big time. Will start pricing up a complete flywheel and clutch setup for the 8 and see what I come up with, or anybody on here have a rough idea price wise?? And Ive managed to pick up a manual EF xr8 ecu to add to the package which will be a little less f**kin around with the loom and what not. Im nearly there but its just the clutch / flywheel thats holding the show up. LOL. Cheers for the help Im gettting, makes the conversion seem not that hard to do.
