Hey all i need some figure's on replacing the lower front control arms (either the complete arm or just bushes) for a 02 BA mkI sedan

Would prefer to put nolathane bushes in but any prices are helpfull as i have no idea. Current bushes are soft so i will need to replace them by christmas

Hey, from memory I paid something like $60 for the lower control arm bushes, and about $30 for the upper control arm bushes (the rear and front bushes on the lower control arm) in pairs

They were Nolathane, you'll need to get camber kits also, 2 per side, otherwise they'll chew out your tires.

In terms of fitting.. I did it myself, so i don't know how much they'll charge.. probably something like $80/hr or similarly high..

It'll cost you a bit, but it'll be worth it

I hope this helps..

Cheers,
MaTTe

cheers thanks i got them done for 90 a side and 180 labour so 360 all up, although without the camber kits out of curiosity why would they chew out the tyres, it shouldn't change the current camber should it is it more the fact that the nolathane bushes are much stiffer
