I dont think you can use lowering blocks in BA utes. The other apprentice at work had to put reset springs in his because he was told the blocks rub on something, i cant remember what though.
The blocks go between the spring and the axle.

I am pritty sure you can use blocks. I have blocks in my Ba wagon doesn't rub on anything. They are pritty simple to put in mate just undo your u bolts slot the blocks in and do the new u bolts back up. Just make sure you take the presure off the springs first makes it a bit easier.

The issue is with the rear shock lower mount.
Unlike E Series, AU and BA the lower shock mount is actually inside the wheel on the outside of the leaf pack, with the E Series being on the inside of the leaf pack. So if you install blocks the wheel will hit the lower shock, but if you fit larger diameter rims, you effectively create some room. I think that makes sense. Cheers BenJ

Yeah that makes sense, so i shouldn't have to much trouble with 18's?, is it worth using blocks or should i just spend more and put superlows in instead?
