just trying to undo the pinion and cant remember the last time i did it if it was reverse thread or not :S
can anyone help? cheers.

Yes reverse thread. I broke 2 bolts using a rattle gun trying to get mine out

Normal thread, not reverse. Best to undo it whilst the diff is in the car.

I use a 400mm long 20mm box section with 2 holes in it, i slap bolts in two flange holes and a breaker bar on the nut.
Undoes in seconds! Or as above, get someone to hold on the brakes or use the pissy handbrake.
