Hi guys did a quick search couldn't find anything just wondering if a Turbo 4spd auto is stronger and an N/A 4 Spd Auto?

The BA turbo boxes are stronger and they also have Kevlar bands in them. So yes they are different

How much stronger are we talking? So say if I was gunna put a turbo motor in a wagon would it be worth upgrading the auto?

I think the Turbo boxes can handle around 250 maybe a bit higher Rwkw's before they will start to get upset. The standard BA being a lower spec box id say will be far less. I would suggest if you turbo your car to definately get a turbo box or get yours strenghtened.

While it stronger, it's not enough to worry about changing to one. If your going to add boost, and not want to be limited, get a built 4spd that way you know what it'd built for.
Having said that, if you're not going to put out too much power, than yeah it'll be better than a regular model box.

How much does it normally cost to get on rebuilt?
