To put into an AU Falcon Forte.

It's only a 6cyl mont, not ghia so no leather seats.

Is there anything worth taking that would be better than what I've got in my series 1 AU Forte?

Sorry for such a dumb question, but I've heard of some Fairmonts coming with LSD's but I don't know whether it was an option or whatever, etc.

Unfortunately, if it is not a Ghia it is unlikely the EF has an LSD. In addition the diff from an EF is not the same width as the AU and therefore is not a bolt in replacement.

The Auto would change over, but that would be about it.

Many members here would consider an EF Fairmont a far superior car to an AU1 Forte.

Like BenJ said, your out of luck with the Fairmont diff being LSD if it isnt Ghia spec. Standard Fairmonts did not come with them from the factory AFAIK, i for one know that my Fairmont isnt LSD equipped - yet. Ghia's did come with LSD, not sure if it was factory or optional though.
